In the archives of the country of Culpa.
By the age of 2033, The world was crime-free. No crime, No thieves, Nobody committed a crime. The motive for this was that the whole world was broadcasted live on television every 24 hours, watched by the government.
Levi Brown..
was tired of being hungry. His family was one of the poorest families in Culpa, they lived off of lettuce and meat from trashcans outside of the butchers shop. He stared at his sister and Father who were trembling in artic wind, underneath the ally, they called home. He felt pity of them because his family had to withstand this punishment, this curse actually and it wasn't even their fault entirely. It was Jessica Brown, Levi's mother. Jessica Brown, the name of Levi's own mother roamed through his head, she was the last major thief to ever walk earth. He remembered her bringing home diamonds and rubies from "work" and always pulling up the driveway with new billion dollar cars each day. Levi knew something was up with her, he saw the pain in her eyes. Once, she came home with a terrible knife wound claiming some corrupt officer stabbed her to steal her purse. She was a good liar, like Levi was himself. He forced a smile, but he quickly eliminated it. Stealing is bad, Levi thought. All crimes are bad. Levi pondered. His family had no chance and his sister would quickly die from starvation in the next month. He stared at his crossbow and then directly at his sleeping father and sister. He grabbed his crossbow and slipped on his leather jacket. Levi wanted his family to be vital, he wanted them to live. He kissed his sisters forehead and rubbed her shoulder. He slated for the grocery store, aiming his crossbow feet away. He nocked and pulled the trigger. He squinted and realized he clouted an innocent customer with an arrow to the head. He wasnt proud of it but he had to follow his Mother's footstep as the next greatest thief to walk Culpa. He held a peace symbol to his dad and sister who's image was drifting away in the darkness. "Ill be back" he promised "W-with food." He headed towards the grocery store.
